Optimized Surface Preparation targets the entire process. Optimized Surface Preparation not only maximizes the performance of each phase, but also ensures that every step works perfectly with the other. Mirka’s OSP abrasive discs and strips are clearly marked with numbers to indicate which disc or strip should go where for each step. Number 1 is for paint removal, number 2 to repair the feather edge, number 3, for expanding and reducing scratches on the feather edge, and finally number 4 for the final sanding. The product is available as sheets, strips and discs.

Application

This product can be used for several types of applications such as sanding aluminum, paint, lacquers, plaster, putty, plastics, body filler, primer and steel.
